Momentary Visuals Studio
The first house on the right, white fencing.
Momentary Visuals Studio is a small, intimate natural light home studio in Drouin created as a relaxed and intimate space to capture timeless portraits of you and your deep connections.
Due to its small size, it is best suited to Newborn sessions, Parenthood sessions, Sibling sessions or individual Child sessions. It is not the most suitable space for Family Sessions.
Because of the natural light nature of the studio, these sessions take place during the day only.
The studio opened in March 2022 and aims to be ever flowing and ever changing as I follow creative ideas and pulls.
arrival
Please arrive on time and ready!
Unfortunately, I do not have a waiting area or an area to get ready/change kids.
It is important to be ready to go at your session start time.
Sessions are running back to back and any late arrival will result in loss of session time.
If you are needing to change children's outfits before please arrive early and do so in your vehicle.
parking
To the right of the driveway is a gravel area to park. Please be mindful of the client before you that will need to leave and do not park any cars in.
SHOES OFF AREA
Weird one I know - no shoes are permitted inside the studio.
When running back to back sessions there is only little time to clean between clients so it is important for everyone's health and enjoyment we keep the space as clean as possible. Please factor this into your outfit choices.
KNOCK AND WAIT
At your session time please knock on the front door once and wait patiently while the session before wraps up. I wish I had a nicer waiting area!
styling advice.
How you dress should reflect how you want your images to look and feel.
Cosy and relaxed? Elegant and put together? Raw and earthy? Colourful and bright?
I welcome alllll forms of self expression.
Start by thinking where our session will be, and what mood you want the photos to hold. Are you hanging them in your house? What colours will compliment your home?
What feels like YOU?
Then, choosing something that you're going to feel confident and comfortable in is important.
Colours and Patterns
The safest, different shades of browns, creams, whites... these tones usually compliment the environment we shoot in and my editing style.
If you're a colour lover and want to get creative or embrace your natural style, absolutely go for it!
Texture
Adding clothing that has texture brings more depth to your images.
Think knitted items, denim, linen, corduroy, lace.
Things to Avoid
- Remove any chunky smart watches like Garmens, Apple watches, Fitbits...
- Take any hair ties and scruntchies off your wrists
- Remove your sunglasses
- No bulky items in your pockets
- Avoid busy clashing or conflicting outfit choices and colours (this is subject to your vibe)
- Avoid obvious logo's and print on clothing (again, subject to vibe)
Gallery delivery.
Your gallery will be delivered via email within 3 weeks of our session date.
This will allow lots of time to have them prior to Mother's Day.
