Before you share your story
Let me tell you mine...
I'm Chloe.
Twenty-something... actually almost 30.
A Mum, a Photographer, and a 'people person'.
I love meeting and connecting with my clients and being welcomed into some of the most memorable or vulnerable times of their lives.
It is not lost on me the privilege I have to be behind the camera of the photos you will treasure for your lifetime.
"I followed my heart with one foot in front of the other, and before I knew it I was a photographer, investing in education, upgrading my equipment... and the big one, cutting back from my full time job and eventually quitting completely. It happened authentically, organically and it always just felt... right."
I think a lot about 'time'.
I guess time is what draws me to photography, the idea you can freeze time with a photograph and revisit it, I mean really revisit it - feel like you're back there, feeling all the emotions again, like time travelling through life.
Time, and love and well... now my baby girls.
That's why I do what I do.
The Person
A deep thinker, a deep feeler.
I'm driven by passion, love of life, and my mushy heart.
I have a great family, deep long-lasting friendships, the most incredible partner and two gorgeous girls, Pearl and Mabel.
My girls were born 12 months apart, I am most proud them and the person they've made me become.
Becoming a Mum changed me, so slowly I hardly noticed until I looked back and realised the changes in my priorities, my views, opinions... everything that mattered.
When I'm not at a shoot, editing or doing admin I am with them, belly laughing, playing, dancing.
The Story
Momentary Visual's was born in January 2020, the sole purpose back then was to feed my obsession.
I'd finally bought a nice camera. It was a present to myself for getting my wisdom teeth out, I rationalised it as something to think about in the chair that would make opting to be awake worth it.
My creativity went wild, I was asking family and friends constantly if I could photograph them.
I remember wanting to reach out to strangers to ask could I photograph them too, but that felt a little weird. 'How can I take photos of people, without being weird?' I remember thinking. And the obvious answer dawned on me.
My business was born on the beach of our annual family holiday with the creation of my Instagram account, and it grew, with love and passion anything is possible.
I followed my heart with one foot in front of the other, and before I knew it I was a photographer, investing in education, upgrading my equipment... and the big one, cutting back from my full time office job and eventually quitting completely. It happened authentically, organically and it always just felt... right.
Photography has become one of the great loves of my life, alongside my family and friends.
